Rama VI statue inside the Chulalongkorn Library. He was instrumental in bringing education and fine arts to the Thai people. He was one of the sons of Chulalongkorn. If you saw the movie, The King and I, Chulalongkorn was the Crown Prince whom Anna was supposed to teach. Chulalongkorn was Rama V and his father, Mongkut, was played by Yul Brynner in the movie. The book on which The King and I was based is phoney. Anna made up most of the stuff in her book in order to sell it. The King and I is not exactly a best seller in Thailand and for many years was banned because of the inappropriate way it depicted the kings of Thailand.
